For fluorescence applications a special reflection probe was developed with 12 excitation fibers of 200µm around a 600µm read fiber, which takes the fluorescence signal back to the spectrometer.
A special reflector accessory FCR-FLTIP-IND is attached to the probe end to turn the 45º reflection probe into a fluorescence probe. The accessory prevents ambient light entering the probe and backscatters the excitation light to increase the fluorescence signal. The fluid channel path can be varied between 0 and 5 mm.
