We pleased to announce the release of our new F series spectrometers for high speed applications such as pulsed laser applications in the UV/VIS and NIR (200-1100 nm).  FAST refers to fast as this instrument series is designed to optimize the speed of the spectral acquisition or integration time.  The FAST series will be offered in several standard configurations.

The initial four configurations released for the AvaSpec FAST Series are as follows:

 The ultrafast integration times supported by the FAST Series also require ultrafast data storage capability which Avantes delivers through our unique Store to onboard RAM capability.  Using our Store to Ram capability the FAST Series is able to store up 5637 spectra on board in real time depending upon the chosen configuration.   For all models, start/stop pixels can be set in our software to increase the number of scans stored on board over a shorter wavelength. The FAST Series is typically configured in CR (continuous run) mode in which a single external trigger results in a continuous scan of spectra up to the user-defined number of scans but can also be configure in SS (single scan) mode in which a single spectrum is acquired per external trigger. For more information about the AvaSpec FAST Series of fiber optic spectrometers, please visit contact us at  This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it , This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it   in North America or This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it   in China.
