Avantes now offers the possibility of Store to RAM. This makes it possible to store an large number of spectra in a very short time. These spectra are saved in the internal memory (RAM) of the spectrometer and can later be transferred to the PC.
The Store To RAM function, which allows the storing of scans at high speed (as fast as 1.1. msecs per scan for the AvaSpec-2048-USB2, and 0.1 msec per scan for the AvaSpec-128-USB2) can be accessed through Avantes AS-5216 DLL and will soon be available in AvaSoft Full. Store to RAM is the fastest, most reliable way to rapidly collect and save spectra without the overhead of USB communication.
