AvaSpec-Fast

The AvaSpec-Fast series of spectrometers are  designed to optimize the speed of the spectral acquisition or integration time. The ultrafast integration times supported by the FAST Series also require ultrafast data storage capability which Avantes delivers through our unique Store to onboard RAM capability.  Using the Store to Ram capability the FAST Series is able to store up 5637 spectra on board in real time depending upon the chosen configuration.   For all models, start/stop pixels can be set in our software to increase the number of scans stored on board over a shorter wavelength. The FAST Series is typically configured in CR (continuous run) mode in which a single external trigger results in a continuous scan of spectra up to the user-defined number of scans but can also be configure in SS (single scan) mode in which a single spectrum is acquired per external trigger.

The AvaSpec-Fast can be delivered in single channel, dual channel, desktop or rackmounted version and has all the standard options, gratings and specifications the standard AvaSpec-2048 has. The wavelength range depends on the selected model an grating, please see table below for details.
