The HortiSpec was developed to measure the light intensity and spectral distribution in the visible and NIR range inside greenhouses. Plant growth and the photo synthesis depends very much on light intensity and spectral distribution of the light intensity. The light intensity can be measured with the irradiance calibrated HortiSpec in Photons or other parameter, specific for the Horticulture. The HortiSpec can be connected wireless via Bluetoothâ to a distant computer. The computer can then be used to control the movement of screen filters in the greenhouse or to control special lamps.
