The ME-FI-SM-MM SMA fiber interconnect and ME-SM-BC SMA Bulkhead are accessories for SMA-terminated optical fibers.
Each connector consists of 1/4”-36 outside-thread female adapter for easy connection to any SMA-terminated optical fiber. For ST and FC/PC-connectors similar accessories are available. The fiber interconnects may be useful for coupling patch cords to fiber optic probes and other devices, or for any multiple-fiber application where coupling of standard optical fibers and accessories is preferable to creating costly and complex fiber optic assemblies.
