12/24V Battery packs for spectrometers and lightsources


The 12V battery pack is specially constructed for use with the AvaSpec-USB2-BT platform spectrometers with BluetoothÒ interface. The 12V battery pack consists of 10 powerful NiMH batteries and allows you to run the AvaSpec with BluetoothÒ for 8 hours without reloading. The battery pack can be easily connected to all AvaSpec-USB2 spectrometers through the 12 VDC external input connector.

The 24V batterypack is developed for use with an AvaLight-HAL and consists of 20 NiMH batteries and has 3200 mAH capacity, enough for 2.5 hours of continuous operation.


The universal batterypack-charger can be used to reload the 12V battery pack within 90 minutes and the 24V battery pack in 3 hours. It supports trickle loading and has a temperature feedback shut-off control .

The 12 Volts battery pack can be used for the AvaSpec spectrometers, most light sources and accessories, such as Avalight-LED, Avalight-XE, AvaLight-DHc and AvaLight-CAL.

All batterypacks are equipped with an automatic thermal and overload cut off circuitry as well as a 3-color LED for power indication.
