In Addition to the exciting new 4096-pixel instruments, Avantes will also be showcasing additions to the Avantes EVO spectrometer lineup. Discover the AvaSpec-NIR256/512-1.7-EVO, the AvaSpec-NIR256/512-1.7-HSC-EVO, the Cooled NIR spectrometer up to 1700nm, and the AvaSpec-ULS4096CL-EVO (CMOS).
Filter Wheel Transmission Measurements
Similar to the ULS4096CL-EVO, the AvaSpec-4096CL-Mini is a high resolution, compact spectrometer that can keep up with its competition. This demo shows the performance of a broadband configured spectrometer when measuring several different types of typical filters, including notch, bandpass, long pass, short pass, and neutral density filters. All are referenced against air when measuring the transmittance of a collimated beam of Halogen light passing through each filter.
Equipment: AvaSpec-4096CL-Mini (UA grating broadband), AvaLight Hal, 2 broadband fibers, 2 collimating lenses, and optomechanical mounting.
Showcasing our latest and greatest, the AvaSpec-ULS4096CL-EVO is at the forefront of the spectrometer market utilizing the highest number CMOS pixel array on the market.* With minimum exposure times down to the microsecond, a state of the art electronics platform with onboard processing, and over 15 I/O signal options, the AvaSpec-ULS4096CL-EVO was integrated into a setup to measure a variable rate, pulsed xenon flash lamp. Using an optoelectric trigger the spectrometer was synchronized to measure within 90nS of the light source's flash, and only measures when a flash is present.
Equipment: Spectrometer, AvaLight-XE-HP-Mini, a Waveform Generator (for creating pulses to light), the AvaTrigger, Broadband Optical Fiber, & 90 Degree Cosine Corrector.
