Avantes Offers Pre-Configured Spectrometers as Stock Items
Avantes offers four pre-configured spectrometer instruments as stock items for our customers who are working on short deadlines and are in need of Avantes’ superior instrumentation in a shorter timeframe.
The AvaSpec 3648–UA-25, AvaSpec 2048-UA-50, the AvaSpec 2048-VA-200 and the AvaSpec 2048-VA-50 represent four of our most common customer configurations for UV/VIS and NIR spectroscopy. Avantes now offers the possibility of Store to RAM. This makes it possible to store an large number of spectra in a very short time. These spectra are saved in the internal memory (RAM) of the spectrometer and can later be transferred to the PC. 
The Store To RAM function, which allows the storing of scans at high speed (as fast as 1.1. msecs per scan for the AvaSpec-2048-USB2, and 0.1 msec per scan for the AvaSpec-128-USB2) can be accessed through Avantes AS-5216 DLL and will soon be available in AvaSoft Full.  Store to RAM is the fastest, most reliable way to rapidly collect and save spectra without the overhead of USB communication.

Ultra-fast Spectrometers for Laser and Other High Speed Applications

We pleased to announce the release of our new F series spectrometers for high speed applications such as pulsed laser applications in the UV/VIS and NIR (200-1100 nm).  FAST refers to fast as this instrument series is designed to optimize the speed of the spectral acquisition or integration time.  The FAST series will be offered in several standard configurations.

Avantes Introduces New Cosine Correctors for Solar Measurement Applications
We are pleased to announce the introduction of two new cosine correctors for solar measurement applications. The CC-UV/VIS/NIR-8MM has an 8 mm active area and the CC-UV/VIS/NIR-5.0 is a special cosine corrector with 5° angular field of view.

Integrating Sphere with internal halogen light source 

The AvaSphere-50-LS-HAL is the ideal combination of an integrating sphere with an internal halogen light source. The advantage of the internal halogen light source is a factor of 160 times more light on the sample than with an integrating sphere and external fiber coupled light source and is therefore mostly suitable for dark reflecting materials and NIR spectral measurements. The integrating sphere can be used for reflection measurements with diffuse halogen light as illumination and a direct collimated SMA measurement port for reflection signal sampling to connect the Avaspec spectrometer.
