As you probably have seen in the news over the past few weeks, several precautions have been taken worldwide to prevent the COVID-19 outbreak from spreading even further.
The outbreak has caused disruptions in supply chains worldwide, including those of electronic manufacturers. This may have consequences for our own supply chain as well due to limited availability of certain supplies. We are trying our best to find second-source suppliers for critical components where necessary, but as of yet cannot make any statements regarding delivery delays until we have more insight into the impact of this issue.
At Avantes, we want to minimize the risks associated with the virus for our customers, suppliers and of course our employees as much as possible, which is why we have decided to cease all travelling activities and customer visits to our company until further notice.
