Product Update: VARIUSTM as the Successor to the ULS Series
The AVASpec-ULS spectrometers are part of an established product line. However, the VARIUSTM series is the official successor and represents the latest generation of Avantes spectrometers.
With improved performance, increased flexibility, and a future-oriented design, VARIUSTM is now our primary reference platform. For new projects we recommend the VARIUSTM spectrometers.
AvaSpec-ULS
The AvaSpec-ULS is available in 2 versions; ULS2048CL with a 2k pixel detector and the ULS4096CL with a 4k pixel detector. The AvaSpec-ULS is available as an OEM unit – optimized for integration, bench-only – optimized for customized software communication, or rackmount version which offers the opportunity to stack spectrometers and perform multiple measurements at the same time.

In combination with our latest AS-7010 electronics, the AvaSpec-ULS offers a versatile and powerful device including high-speed USB3.0 communication and a second communication port that offers Gigabit Ethernet for integration in your company network and the possibility for long-distance communication. Options include a detector collection lens to enhance sensitivity in the 200-1100 nm range and an order-sorting filter to reduce second-order effects.
Furthermore, the AvaSpec-ULS is available with a wide range of slit sizes, gratings, and fiber-optic entrance connectors to ensure maximum adaptability and compatibility with various experimental setups and applications. This flexibility allows users to customize their spectrometer to specific requirements, whether for detailed research, industrial quality control, or environmental monitoring, ensuring optimal performance and precision in every use case.
It comes with AvaSoft-Basic software, a USB cable, and an extensive manual.
